A 'Smoke and Mirrors' Styled Wedding Shoot

Today’s styled wedding shoot is something a little different. Melanie from Cranberry Blue styled this fantastic ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ shoot, photographed by wedding photographer Steve Shipman.

We love the way Melanie has created such a a spectacular visual display with the beautiful tablescape, and The Langham Hotel provided the perfect setting for the shoot.

“I absolutely love the private dining room at The Langham in London, and I’ve always felt this would provide the perfect backdrop to an elegant and inspirational wedding. So, I decided to team up with some amazing suppliers to create an inspirational shoot.

“The pink interior provided the starting point for the styling, and the inspiration then grew around the title ‘Smoke and Mirrors’. The focus was on the table set up and the details such as the cake, stationery, reception drinks, sweet table, accessories and flowers. We used a colour palette of different tones of pink mixed with pewter and silver, and included some quirky touches.”
