I have a whole lot of pretty for you today on The Wedding Community with these romantic peach wedding styling ideas. Pinterest is awash with inspiring images of beautiful peach wedding ideas, but as the idea behind this shoot came from a painting, these ideas are so unique that you probably won’t find anything with such splendour. Throw in the backdrop of Beverly Hills and you know this is going to be special!
Peach is such an adorable colour for a wedding, especially in spring or summer. Blended with inspiration from the historic painting ‘The Birth of Venus’ by Sandro Botticelli, you get something really special. Shawna Yamamoto and Hylah White’s design aesthetic is so perfect, with every detail beautifully curated.
Soft peach and lush green florals take centre stage, and I adore the bride’s large, untamed bridal bouquet, brimming with soft delicate peach blooms and gorgeous foliage. The elegant, graceful floral designs are such statement pieces.
The beautiful textured china, rose gold cutlery and rose gold rimmed glassware are key to creating a rich, elegant table setting. Of course, peaches, along with other fruit, also feature, and give a nod to the sensuality of Venus herself. Even the wedding stationery has a peach envelope liner.
The bride’s styling is sensational and her wedding dress works perfectly with this romantic styling concept. And wait until you see her shoes… oh my! A pair of Sophia Webster silver high heeled beauties with butterfly wings!
I’m a sucker for soft peach styling so I absolutely adore these images by Koman Photography, and hope you do too.
Breathtaking, Ethereal Photos
“The inspiration for this shoot came from an old Italian Villa, and we added a Grecian vibe. The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills was the perfect backdrop to create some breathtaking, ethereal photos.
“The decor and old Italian villas inspired the invitation suite, with a nod to classic design with soft, modern finishes. The layered invitation included an ornate old world Italian crest and a handmade peach ribbon wrap treatment, and the envelope liner’s vintage peach illustration gave an unexpected pop of colour.” — Hylah White Special Events
The Birth of Venus
“The painting, ‘The Birth of Venus’, depicts the goddess Venus arriving at the shore after her birth, emerging from the sea fully-grown. We wanted to show her sensuality and beauty by rising up to her, creating a feast of sorts to celebrate her birth and all she would stand for; creating a beautiful garden that would suspend around her.
“Fruit demonstrated both an offering as well as depicting the sensuality of the woman. In the painting you can see she is about to be clothed and is attempting to cover up her body. We covered her body to take the painting one step further.
“When it first came out the painting was highly criticised for its nudity. We wanted to nod to that era, but also celebrate the fact that it eventually came back out of hiding.
“The painting is very large in scale. Using a replica statute helped make it feel larger than life — as if you are standing in front of the very painting — and feel that same scale it presents to you in person.” — Shawna Yamamoto Event Design
Elegant Decor
“A vision of overgrown lush greens and tranquillity, the floral design in the reception area was something truly spectacular. The statue, draped in flowers and growing effortlessly from the table centre, created a dramatic focal point.
“Grey menus featuring the old world Italian monogram paired perfectly with the hand scrolls dinnerware. Rose gold cutlery and gold-rimmed glassware complemented the organic arrangements with halved peaches as accents.
“The draping greens running down the tablescape added a garden elegance to the decor. Draping illuminated the romantic Tuscan decor, and lighting warmed up the atmosphere.
“The vintage vignette completed the overall romantic ambiance with a chandelier adorned with lush greens and ice sculpture accented with fresh fruit.”
Heavenly
“A delicate airy cape seamlessly complemented the couture gown, and flowed effortlessly down the hand-stitched train. The amazing bridal bouquet with luxurious florals and cascading greenery echoed this soft aesthetic for a heavenly design.” — Hylah White Special Events
