This amazing colourful wedding inspiration shoot has to be one of our favourite features this year… just look at it! So bright, so colourful, so dramatic, so bold and so darn cool!
We love these incredible pictures by Matilda Delves Photography. They really capture the essence of fun that this shoot portrays. Who said weddings have to have pastel colour schemes? Who said weddings had to follow tradition?
Fern & Field are the creative geniuses behind this shoot. Their vision was to create drama with colour and they have totally achieved this!
The flowers, clothes, backdrops, tablescapes, stationery, cake (it has hundreds and thousands on it!) accessories, balloons, and the make-up (the make-up is just fabulous) — everything about this styling is fun, fun, fun!
These pictures make us happy and we hope they make you happy too!
Drama and Colour
“It felt like the right time to add more drama and colour to a bridal shoot, and I’m a big fan of Mario Testino’s more colourful and dramatic shoots.
“Every element, including the stationery, cake, props and flowers, was bright and added drama. For the make-up we used the recent trend which has seen bright colours and metallics added around eyes. Otaduy’s sleek dresses and jackets complemented the look perfectly.
Complementing Nature’s Palette
“We want to inspire brides to use colour and urban backdrops for rural, outdoor weddings. The look complements and contrasts nature’s palette so well.
“On your wedding day you should be yourself; you don’t need to play it safe.”
