Congratulations to Olivia Shaw Photography, the winner of our March Picture of the Day vote. Olivia’s picture received the most votes from our readers, and becomes the third picture to go through to our Picture of the Year vote.
Olivia told us a little bit about the picture…
“‘Sarah and Toby got married on 15th January 2012; it was a beautiful, crisp, winter’s day. The intimate modern vintage wedding took place at St Michael’s Manor in St Albans. I took this photo during the reception, by the lake on the hotel grounds. Even though it was a freezing cold day, they quickly forgot and were very excited to explore and find the best locations for the photos.
“I love the gaze between them in this photo, capturing their beaming happiness at a very special moment between a newly married couple. They laughed together as I took the photos and made it very easy for me to show their wonderful connection with each other. They were a great couple to work with, so fun and relaxed and it was such a privilege to be part of their big day. I am pleased so say they love this photo as much as I do!”
