And the winner is… Charlotte Snowden Photography!
We now have half our finalists for our Picture of the Year vote, after this fantastic picture by Charlotte Snowden received the most votes in our June Picture of the Day competition, and became the 6th picture to go through to the final vote. We asked a delighted Charlotte to tell us a little bit about the picture…
“This picture comes from the wedding of Dan and Sally which took place in Oxfordshire last summer. Dan and Sally had a beautiful horse drawn carriage which took them from their church wedding ceremony to their reception. On the way to the reception venue there were lovely rolling wheat fields, so I asked Dan and Sally if they would come into the field for the shot — the result was this spectacular image with the dramatic clouds in the background.”
