Painterly
“Winton Castle in East Lothian is full of beautiful paintings from the Dutch golden age. The bride in this photo, Anniek, is Dutch, so I had in my head the idea that I wanted to try to create something painterly, using window light, the way the Dutch masters painted. We had time to try a couple of different set-ups, but this one is my favourite.”
