The stunning Elbeth Gillis Luxury 2017 Bridal Collection is a sensual collection of eight wedding dresses. The emphasis is on backs and shoulders, and the line from nape to waist.

From keyhole openings to illusion backs and lace tattoos, backs plunge to the hips in a variety of ways. Necklines also reveal more décolletage, but with a sophistication that is quite becoming. From a satin ball gown to figure-fitting gentle mermaids, silhouettes include everything you could ask for.

The Cape Town-based designer sources only the best fabrics from around the world, and stretch satins, silk chiffons and lace overlays and tattoos feature heavily in the 2017 collection. Also, intricate beading adds glamour to make this collection utterly sumptuous.

Three of our favourite dresses from the Elbeth Gillis Luxury 2017 collection are Fiona, Ellen and Viane…

Firstly, Fiona is a beautiful figure-hugging satin dress with dramatic train. We adore the intricately beaded bodice.

Then we have Viane — check out the incredible guipure lace detailing! This gorgeous wedding dress is made from delicate Chantilly lace and satin.

Finally, Ellen is a sophisticated body-hugging wedding dress. The bodice also features Chantilly lace, and the satin skirt has a dramatic godet inset.
