“I created dresses inspired by each of nature’s four seasons. As part of my Four Seasons collection, fall made me think of rich textures and warm glimmers of precious metals woven into embroideries and laces. There is a mystery about Autumn, and a rich beauty in the changing of the seasons.

“I love that each season has a very defined mood, although I believe you can certainly wear a dress from spring for a fall wedding. Likewise, a winter gown could be perfect for a summer soiree.

It’s always so hard to choose favourites from Claire Pettibone collections as they are all so pretty. It was such a hard choice, but these are my top three dresses from The Four Seasons Collection(I think!).

Maia

I absolutely adore the Maia dress, and every time I see it I picture me wearing it… it’s very me! Pretty, colourful floral embroidery springs to life in shades of pale rose, leaf, and hydrangea, gracefully scattered on delicate tulle. This design features Claire’s signature illusion back with flowers delicately trailing along the tulle. An illusion neckline leads to a fitted waist, adorned with embroidered appliqués flowing into a graceful skirt.

April

Isn’t the April dress just so pretty. The plunging neckline adorned with delicate floral appliqués is so eye-catching… but wait until you see the back. A deep, open back tied with sheer, shimmering ribbon and finished with a gorgeous flowing train.

April has delicate embroidered blush pink, ivory, and silver rose blossoms head to toe over the tulle. It’s a vision of feminine charm, with the graceful mermaid silhouette.

Reverie

Wow, wow, wow! Imagine how you would feel walking down the aisle wearing this pretty number. The Reverie wedding dress is the epitome of simple femininity. The French embroidered floral tulle sheath features Claire’s signature illusion back of delicate floral vines trailing along the spine.
