If you’re planning a wedding you must have seen the hot trend for using metallic as a wedding theme. Gold and silver weddings have been really popular, and with the introduction of rose gold and copper, incorporating metallic into your wedding day is a perfect way to create the industrial glamour look, but with a clean and modern approach.
Here are my top five ways of using metallic on your wedding reception tables.
Cutlery, Crockery and Glassware
Metallic cutlery, crockery and glassware are super-cool and trendy. Great for adding warmth to your wedding tables, they also give your reception a luxury feel and create a unique experience for your guests.
Clean and Contemporary
Combine metallic cutlery, crockery and glassware with crisp white linens to enhance the colours and give a clean, contemporary feel to your wedding tables.
Mix with Other Colours
Metallic details look fantastic against other colours such as Tiffany blue, dark teal or soft pink. If you’re feeling bold, pair metallic with black for a sophisticated, dramatic look.
Team with Pastel Flowers
Mix the industrial metallic look with soft, pastel flowers to add some romance to your wedding tables. Ivory and peach flowers with a touch of green foliage look stunning against copper and gold.
DIY Details
If your can’t hire the metallic cutlery, crockery or glassware you want, make your own metallic table details. Spray some jars and tea light holders en masse to give a metallic illusion to your wedding tables. Combine with metallic stationery and table runners to complete the look.
