The Maldives
If nature made a place perfect for love then it is the stunning archipelago of The Maldives. This picture-perfect destination is everything you picture when you imagine a tropical paradise, and there are plenty of special spots for you to surprise your loved one. Take a quiet stroll down the beach with the soft, white sand between your toes, take a boat out into the crystal clear waters and moor up at a private beach with a bottle of bubbly, or get down on one knee while enjoying the tranquillity of your own private hut as the sun sets over the ocean. The Whitsunday Islands off the coast of Australia are perfect for exploring the stunning Great Barrier Reef and the abundance of marine life that flourishes there. The iconic ice rink outside New York’s Rockefeller Center is not just the preserve of Christmas movies. It is in fact in place until April every year, making it a must-do experience throughout the whole winter. It is a magical spot for an engagement too in this most inspiring of cities.
