We are almost halfway through the year and I thought it would be a great idea to update you on our top five European stag do destinations.

In no particular order…

Riga

Always a popular stag destination; a city full of great clubs and bars with prices lower than here in the UK, but not as cheap as they used to be.

Riga in Latvia

However, Riga is not just about the cheap bars and clubs. There is so much to do on a stag do in Riga it is astonishing. From bobsleighing (ice in winter, wheels in the summer) to shooting AK 47s, beer tasting to free fall stimulators. You can even go on a snowmobile safari in the winter.

Riga also has the perfect weather system — cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Benidorm

No one needs reminding about how popular Benidorm is with us Brits. If you’re looking for a place in the sun which is extremely lively, with loads of bars and clubs, Benidorm is the ultimate European stag do destination.

Benidorm in Spain

In the day there’s not too much to do apart from Jeep safaris, karting and waterparks. However, with the sun shining surely a trip to the clear waters and sandy beaches of Benidorm should be the only thing to do?

Amsterdam

Always in the top 5 favourite stag destinations, and its reputation doesn’t surpass what it’s actually like in the Dam.

Amsterdam in the Netherlands

I have been on a few stag weekends to Amsterdam and each one has been eventful, with loads of fun and great experiences. Just walking around this amazing city gives you a thrill, and I am not talking about the red light district either! I am talking about the canal-lined streets, the fantastic Dutch bars, the friendly locals and the amazing atmosphere.

Prague

Prague has become one of the top destinations for stag parties, and in the early days you could buy three pints and a steak dinner for under a tenner. Now prices are more on a par to over here in the UK, unless you travel out of the city centre.

Prague in the Czech Replublic

However, Prague has some amazing stag activities day and night; my favourite was an underground shooting range. Now, I’m no gun freak, but it was such a memorable experience; something I will remember for the rest of my life.

Berlin

In my mind Berlin is the place to go this year on a stag do. Berlin has some truly brilliant activities which are totally unique, such as the Beer Bike or the Trabant driving experience.

Berlin in Germany

You then have that beer drinking culture in Berlin where it’s acceptable and expected; Berliners work hard and play hard. Berlin is also a very young city within the walls of a very old capital city, semi-comparable to London.

If you are unsure of where to go this year or next for your stag do, Berlin is a must.
