You are going to spend the rest of your life with the one you love, so why not start as you mean to go on and have a joint stag and hen weekend? Here are some ideas.

Horse Racing

Going to the horse racing is a real stag and hen do pleaser. Everyone can dress up and soak up the atmosphere whilst sipping cocktails and watching the ladies parade in their hats.

There are plenty of racecourses around the country to choose from. You could go all out and choose a special race-day such as ‘Ladies Day’ at Ascot or ‘Plate Day’ at Newcastle Racecourse. Make sure you book early as these fixtures are extremely popular.

Water Activities

If you want to experience exhilaration and you don’t mind getting wet, try out some great water activities like Gorge Walking (also known as Gorge Scrambling and Canyoning) or Coasteering. You can do these activities together and they are a real group bonding session.

Head to the Seaside

You may find that the group may want to just relax and mingle, in which case I suggest you head for the beach. In the UK, Bournemouth and Newquay have great beaches where you can sunbathe, play volleyball or simply chill out. You also then have fantastic nightlife on your doorstep to keep everyone in the group happy.

Go Abroad

Getting on a plane is your best bet if you are looking for sun. You could head for Spain; it’s only two hours away and you are more or less guaranteed to get a tan. The Balearics are great for sunny days and lively nights; the best two islands for both nightlife and beaches are Mallorca and Ibiza.

Split Up

Many hen and stag groups have hugely different tastes, especially when it comes to daytime activities. We find that some joint hen and stag groups like split up in the day and then meet up for the night out.

Group of men and women

This option is very popular as most hen parties don’t like stag do activities, and few stag parties like a pamper day!
