If you’re about to organise a stag weekend and are in need of some ideas, let me take you down Adventurous Avenue. Adventure and stag activities go hand in hand, like cheese and biscuits, strawberries and cream, Ant and Dec… you get the idea!

So, let’s take a look at 10 current full-on and adventurous stag activities…

Bobsleigh

This is the real thing, people. On ice in a kart-style sledge, bombing down an icy track built to an Olympic standard. Bobsleigh is only available on ice in Riga and Latvia during the months on November and March, but it’s also available May to October on wheels. But surely, you’ll want the real thing, right?

Canyoning

Available throughout the UK and Europe, Canyoning is an incredible stag do activity where you jump off ledges up to 60 feet high into deep pools, walk behind waterfalls, explore caves… basically taking part in adventurous activities like the old ‘Milk Tray Man’ (if you are unaware of the old Milk Tray adverts, watch them on Youtube — bordering on stalking if you ask me!).

Indoor Skydiving

Skydiving the British weather will never spoil. Get yourselves to Milton Keynes for your chance to get some skydiving under your belt in this amazing indoor facility. Massive blowers pick you up and give you the amazing sensation of skydiving — fantastic!

White Water SUPing

This isn’t about drinking frothy water, even though you may find yourself getting a mouth full or two. White Water SUPing is standing up on a surf board and going down white water rapids! You’ll get a helmet, wet suit and a paddle, and of course some good training, before hitting the white water for the thrill of your life.

Stock Car Racing

A day for the petrol heads, Stock Car Racing is proper wacky racing brought over from the USA. Learn how to race these V8 engine beasts that sound amazing and are fully set up for left turn racing (you race around oval tracks). Available in Milton Keynes and Birmingham.

Coasteering

Coasteering is similar to canyoning, but on the coast. Scramble and climb across rock faces getting pounded by waves, climb up cliff faces and jump into deep pools from ledges towering over the sea. All specialised equipment is included, so just bring your ‘balls of steel’.

Minimoto Racing

Tiny motorbikes await you and your mates to race around an indoor track at full whack. In Minimoto Racing you may look like a hippo on a pushbike, but you will love the competition and the adrenaline of hanging on!

White Water Rafting

The best spots in the UK for White Water Rafting in my mind are North Wales and Scotland. Travel further afield to Prague, Krakow or Valencia to enhance your stag do abroad.

Rage Buggies and Similar

This is one of the most popular activities we offer. Rage Buggies are extremely fast (speeds of up to 60mph), and unlike most other buggies can handle going around chicanes at speed. Available in most popular stag destinations throughout the UK.

Mini Racing

Race around a track in fully race-prepared old style Minis. These 1,000cc engines can really hit some speed at full throttle, and when you’re racing against your mates there is no other motorised activity like it.

Mini Racing

I am sure in the next couple of years this list will change as more exciting, adrenaline infused stag activities come on the market, so watch this space.
