Tying the Knot Save the Date Cards

You Will Need…

  • A7 Cards
  • Letter Size Paper
  • A1/4 Bar Size Envelopes (3 5/8in x 5 1/8in)
  • Hemp Cording/Baker’s Twine
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Pen/Sharpie
  • Hole Punch
  • Printer

How to Make…

1. Download and print the save the date template* onto your card and personalise…

2. Make a mark halfway up each side of the card and then punch a hole where you have marked…

3. Fold the card in half. Cut your hemp cording to around 10inches in length, tie a knot at one end and thread the other end through the hole…

4. Tie a loose knot in the middle of your cord and then thread through the other hole…

5. Pull the knot so it’s almost taut when the card is folded and the cord is about 5inches long, then tie a knot to secure it on the other side…
