With the weather in Britain being so unpredictable it’s an unfortunate reality that it might rain on your wedding day. However, you don’t have to let this spoil your big day! There are plenty of places you can now buy or hire wedding umbrellas.
The range available is astonishing; from classic white umbrellas to designer styles featuring frills and even lace. Here are some of my favourite styles and reasons why wedding umbrellas have become a must-have accessory on your special day!

Create that ‘aah’ moment with a heart-shaped ivory umbrella, big enough for two!
Coloured
Umbrellas come in every shade imaginable nowadays, so why not get a few in your chosen colour scheme? They will look fabulous in your wedding pictures and help brighten up a grey day!
Vintage Styles
If you are having a vintage wedding there are lots of lovely designs available featuring lace, frills and pretty handles.
Parasols
And don’t think that umbrellas are just for us Brits. I love the fact this bride decided to use parasols for her beach wedding in Puerto Rico. White lace umbrellas would also work beautifully against a blue sky backdrop and bold, bright bridesmaid dresses.
