Please introduce The Sea House
The Sea House is an impressive grand villa that sits majestically overlooking the ocean in the heart of Mamora Bay, Antigua, West Indies. Recently described as ‘a paradise within paradise’, the villa is idyllic, in a stunning location, and offers gorgeous views over the turquoise sea.
Located at the ocean’s edge with direct access to its own small private beach and dock, the house provides large open-planned living areas, coupled with sumptuous and comfortable accommodation sleeping up to fifteen people.
Describe the location of The Sea House
The Sea House is on Mamora Bay which is on the south coast of the island. The villa is a short drive from Pigeon Point, Galleon Bay and Half Moon Bay beaches, English Harbour and Nelson’s Dockyard, which has lots to offer everyone.
Nearby activities include fishing trips, scuba diving, historical sites and tours, boat rentals, sailing, tennis, horse-back riding and 4×4 safari tours. The villa is a five-minute drive from restaurants, with lots more bars and restaurants at English Harbour, where there is a wide choice to choose from.

What else will couples need to arrange for their wedding at The Sea House?
All couples need to do is bring the necessary documentation with them, which is fully discussed during their wedding planning.
How do potential couples liaise with you to find out more about the venue and during the booking and organisation period?
Couples can email, or FaceTime, messenger or WhatsApp me. I am used to dealing with different time zones!
Who will be present at The Sea House on the day of the wedding? Will there be a wedding co-ordinator?
On the wedding day either myself or our wedding co-ordinator will attend. I have planned weddings for over 10 years and have, to date, organised around 250 weddings.
How many people can attend a wedding at The Sea House?
At The Sea House we like to keep weddings small and intimate, and can hold receptions for around 20 people. Of course, as we also run a full wedding planning service, if couples need a bigger venue or fancy something completely different, such as a yacht wedding, we can organise this for them.
Can guests stay at The Sea House? If there are more guests attending the wedding, where is the nearest accommodation?
We can accommodate 15 guests at the villa and there is lots more accommodation nearby. The nearest accommodation is around 10 minutes’ drive away and we can assist all guests with sourcing accommodation and have our own recommendations.
Where is the nearest airport and how far away is this? Do you/can you provide transport to and from the airport?
Antigua VC Bird International Airport is 30 minutes from The Sea House, and we can certainly assist in arranging transfers and car hire.
What’s the weather like in Antigua? Do you have a hurricane season?
Antigua is blessed with year-round sunshine and an even temperature throughout. Most of the Caribbean has ‘hurricane season’, but this island is rarely affected. Any month is a good month to come and enjoy this gorgeous island.
Why should couples choose The Sea House for their wedding over a hotel on the island?
Getting married at The Sea House offers our couples something different. Their wedding is private, just for them and their guests, as they have exclusive hire of the venue.
Getting married on a beach in front of bikini-clad bystanders is not something every couple want. Here at The Sea House we specialise in small, intimate, private fairytale weddings.
A lot of hotels will host multiple weddings a day, and this can make couples feel as though the most important day of their lives is ‘just another wedding’. At The Sea House our couples have exclusive use of the villa for themselves and their guests, and can enjoy being the main and only focus on their wedding day. Everyone on their wedding day deserves to feel special, and that’s what we want for our couples to!
What activities are there for the bride and groom and their guests to enjoy on the island?
There are a plethora of activities to enjoy in Antigua. From swimming with stingrays, to jet skiing on a turquoise sea, to zip wiring through the rain forest, to historical monuments — there really is something for everyone.
We provide a guide book with lots of information to make sure everyone has a wonderful time.
Random question… Have you had any famous guests at The Sea House?
We have, but I am not at liberty to say who! Our couples could be rubbing shoulders with Eric Clapton, who lives up the lane, or James Bond, aka Timothy Dalton, who lives across the bay, or even Cameron Diaz, who has a house near us. Not forgetting Oprah Winfrey and Giorgio Armani — the villa is in prestigious company!
