We specialise in offering completely unique wedding days tailored to you, with our full-time Wedding Co-ordinator on hand, who will liaise with you from booking to ensuring the day runs perfectly. You can truly shape all that The Rectory has to offer in order to meet your requirements for your perfect wedding day. With a personal point of contact all your needs and those of your guests can be catered for running up to and on the day of your wedding.

What is the capacity for wedding receptions at The Rectory Hotel?

We can seat up to 60 people in our wood panelled Dining Room, but we also offer the option for up to 120 with a marquee; we can be flexible on the size of reception.

Do you offer exclusive use?

Yes, all weddings with us for over 30 guests take sole use of the property and bedrooms.

Does The Rectory Hotel have its own caterers or can couples choose to bring in their own?

All catering is done in house by our fantastic team of chefs who are passionate about local, seasonal produce.

What would a typical wedding breakfast at The Rectory Hotel be?

We do not offer set packages as we feel they can restrict couples or force them into things they don’t want or need, so we just have a set exclusive use/hire fee, and then tailor pricing from there on. All elements of the day are planned with and by the couple so tailored to their every requirement.

What is your top tip for choosing the perfect wedding venue?

Pick somewhere you feel 100% comfortable, whether walking around in your slippers or wedding dress! You are there to have fun and if you are not comfortable it will show on the day.
