Please tell us a little about The In & Out’s History
The In & Out, formally known as The Naval & Military Club, is a beautiful grade II listed building which is set in the heart of London’s West End. This wonderful wedding venue retains all of its original features, from the grand staircase to the ornate fireplaces within each of the rooms. Not only does The In & Out contain beautiful staterooms, it also has a secluded courtyard that can play host to wonderful summer wedding drinks receptions.
Is The In & Out licensed for wedding ceremonies?
The In & Out has two rooms that are licensed for wedding ceremonies, the King Harald V Room that can accommodate up to 90 guests and the Coffee Room that can accommodate up to 150 guests.
What can a couple expect from having their wedding at The In & Out?
The grandeur of the In & Out creates a spectacular location for a couple’s wedding day. With a service that will ensure everything flows seamlessly and a venue to take your guests’ breathe away, this venue and its team ensures every small detail is taken care of resulting in a day to remember.
Do you offer exclusive use?
Due to the club being a running members club seven days a week we cannot offer complete exclusive use. All rooms can be hired exclusively but communal areas are open to members.
Does The In & Out have its own caterers or can couples choose to bring in their own caterers?
Ampersand are the exclusive caterers on site and will create a stunning and unique dining experience for all couples sharing their wedding day with us.
What would a typical wedding breakfast at The In & Out be?
There are a range of menus offered to couples for their wedding day. Dishes are traditionally British, however if a couple would like something different we will work with them to create something bespoke that expresses what they would like for their special day.
What types of packages are available at The In & Out?
We have a number of different packages that we propose, with a popular package being canapés on arrival with a sparkling wine reception, a three course seated dinner with half a bottle of house wine and a glass of sparkling wine for the toast.
Can packages be tailored to the couple’s needs?
The packages we offer are a suggestion for couples and we will of course create bespoke packages to meet each couple’s needs and ensure they have what they want for their day.
What do you think is the best thing about having a wedding at The In & Out?
The In & Out is a venue that is set in the heart of the West End with chic London on your doorstep, however once you are inside the venue you feel as though you have stepped back in time. With beautiful staircases and magnificent chandeliers this venue captivates couples and their wedding guests.
Does The In & Out have any rooms for guests to stay?
The venue offers a bridal suite complimentary to the bride and groom when booking the whole venue on a weekend. We also then reserve an additional 17 rooms for couples to book as they wish.
Does The In & Out have a wedding co-ordinator on site and are they available on the day of the wedding?
The In & Out has on site sales executive who will be the point of contact for the couple from the point of confirming up until the wedding day, including tastings, client meetings and if possible the day itself. We have an onsite venue manager and operations team should the sales executive be unavailable on the day.
