Currently under construction and opening in May 2012, Mythe Barn is a stunning modern and stylish barn conversion. This brand new wedding venue is quickly becoming the most talked about venue in the Midlands.
What can a couple expect from having their wedding at Mythe Barn?
From day one couples can expect to receive on-going support and help from the Venue Owners, Wedding Office and Events Team. The Events Team are experienced in fine dining and event co-ordination and will work tirelessly to ensure that your day runs smoothly. Our friendly and helpful wedding team will help make you feel confident in your venue choice so that you can relax and enjoy your special day in this stunning, brand new wedding venue.
What is the capacity for a wedding ceremony and wedding reception at Mythe Barn?
The Oak Barn can accommodate up to 150 for a civil ceremony. Up to 150 guests can be seated for a wedding breakfast in the Grain Store, with capacity for up to 200 guests for an evening reception.
Does Mythe Barn have rooms for guest to stay, how many and at what price?
The wedding couple are given complimentary use of The Honeymoon Suite, which also provides a beautiful space for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready in before the ceremony. The Hayloft provides the perfect onsite accommodation for the couple’s close family and friends and consists of 4 en-suite bedrooms. Hire of the accommodation is £450 in 2012 and £475 in 2013 for all 4 rooms.

Mythe Barn is a brand new venue and will open its doors to the first wedding in May 2012. We predict big things for this stunning barn, which has already received lots of attention from the public and media. Mythe Barn will hold an estimated average of 100 weddings per year.
Does Mythe Barn offer exclusivity for weddings and if so is there an extra charge?
Every wedding at Mythe Barn is given exclusive use of the barn and grounds, enabling you to enjoy your day in complete seclusion and privacy.
Does Mythe Barn have a set price for weddings or is there a tiered pricing structure?
Weddings at Mythe Barn vary depending on the day, month and year. Hire prices in 2012 start from £1,750.
What would a typical menu be at Mythe Barn?
Mythe Barn has teamed up with Galloping Gourmet who specialise in modern British cuisine, using top quality seasonal ingredients. They have created 3 different fine food packages for you to choose from; Standard, Deluxe and Premier. Catering is of the highest standard and couples who book Mythe Barn for their wedding are invited to a complimentary Tasting Event where they can enjoy an evening sampling the various packages and drinks. A typical menu at one of our Tasting Events includes:
Canapé reception with Bellinis

Warm tartlet of lobster and king prawn, lemon butter and chive sauce
Terrine of braised ham hock and corn-fed chicken, dry cured bacon and red onion marmalade

Does Mythe Barn have a wedding co-ordinator on site and are they available on the day of the wedding?
Joanna and Joseph Garland are the venue owners of Mythe Barn and are happy to answer questions and offer advice. The Events Team are also available in the lead up and on the day of your wedding. Their experience in event co-ordination means that your special day is in extremely good hands.
