Yes, Micklefield Hall offers a family approach to their wedding planning, so the owners Jamie and Anna Rankin are involved with the wedding planning along with their in-house wedding manager, Julie, who takes care of introducing the couple to the venue via the initial consultation and venue tour. Couples are offered access to the venue’s preferred suppliers if they do not know where to start, and the venue is happy to accept external suppliers and planners, but not caterers.

Since its official opening in 2014, the barn has really added to the existing splendour of the acres of lush Hertfordshire countryside. This, alongside the evocative surroundings of the lawns and intimate gardens, has been a real draw for 2015 couples.
Every single need has been considered and catered for, including a private changing area for the bride and her bridal party in the upstairs area of The Great Barn, which later on in the day can be used as a chill-out area, a fully equipped bar which has been lovingly hand crafted using oak and offers couples and their guests an extensive wine list to choose from, while the permanent dance floor, state of the art lighting, air conditioning, under floor heating, and purpose built kitchens are all part of the finishing touches.
Photographers are spoiled for choice too, as there are so many enchanting backdrops for wedding pictures. The grounds are full of delightful surprises, with historical features such as follies, water features and exquisite flowers.
