What do red, mint and silver, sparkles and sequins, and red roses and gypsophila make you think of? Of course, Christmas! Featuring stunning dresses and a beautiful wedding venue, today we are sharing the fabulous pictures by Jay Anderson Photography from this winter themed bridal shoot, created by a very talented team.
We love the quirkiness of this shoot, with the fun confetti bar, tempting sweet table and exquisite sparkly tablecloths…
“For our styled bridal shoot we chose classic winter and festive colours including red, mint and silver. December is such a magical time of the year to get married and we wanted to showcase a winter wedding in a creative and fun way, using traditional colours and adding lots of sparkles and sequins.
“The bridal bouquet and table flowers were made up of red roses and gypsophila, which is the perfect Christmas arrangement. The gypsophila was scattered through the rose bouquet, and jewelled rhinestones were added to the centre of the roses to add that touch of glamour.
“The bride’s beautiful dress was designed by Charlotte Garratt. The gown is so elegant that our make-up and hair stylist wanted to complement the dress by creating a simple updo with soft curls, and a vibrant red lip. Our bridesmaid wore a soft mint coloured dress, and her make-up was kept very fresh and innocent with lots of pale pinks and browns being used.
“By adding a striking red sequin tablecloth the dessert and cake table soon became a showstopper in its own right! The three tier wedding cake with light mint base was adorned with white lace work and red flowers. Iced biscuits and cupcakes in white and mint were finished off with red flowers with glitter centres, again adding that touch of sparkle. The sweet labels included a red and mint chevron background and were also decorated with little jewels, adding to the festive bling.”
