Whimsical, Fairytale Inspired Wedding Styling at Walton Castle

With Walton Castle as the setting for this beautiful styled shoot you can see why the creative team wanted to use this fairytale wedding venue; it’s every girl’s dream!

Using simple yet elegant styling details, and ivory, white and green, we love the air of sophistication this shoot portrays. Martin Dabek Photography has really captured the wedding details, styled by Elizabeth Weddings, in all their glory.

“For this shoot we wanted to incorporate beautiful and elegant décor with the perfect setting of Walton Castle. We loved the idea of creating something simple yet sophisticated, but also creating a whimsical, fairytale story with a hint of lace.

“We used the simple but elegant colours of ivory, white and green, which complemented the castle venue, and we really wanted to reflect and capture the fairytale romance with candlelight and natural elements within the shoot.

“Tin Can Floral created the lovely floral arrangements which tied in beautifully with the surroundings. The ivy shrouded entrance was enhanced with hydrangea, foliage and white hurricane lanterns, which really emphasised the stunning venue.

“The grounds and turreted walls of Walton Castle gave us the perfect opportunity to create a wishing tree, strung with white paper lanterns and decorated with lace, ribbons, flowers and tea light baubles. It created a beautiful backdrop for photos, and guests could even hang their own messages to the bride and groom.

“A table set in one of the many turrets was decorated with an ivory candelabra as a centrepiece with draping ivy and hydrangea. Pillar candles and tea lights lit the table, decorated with a natural bespoke table runner, creating a glowing atmosphere in the room. Elizabeth Weddings designed the handmade menu cards and place names to incorporate into the theme, with whimsical designs on recycled materials.”
