Traditional and Vintage Wedding Styling at Houchins

With the backdrop of the exquisite Essex wedding venue Houchins, the styling team created a wonderful showcase of beautiful wedding ideas.

We love the elegant styling, the galvanised buckets of baby’s breath on the tables, romantic ruffled chair sashes, the cute posies on the ceremony chairs and, of course, the beautiful wedding cakes…

“One of Essex’s newest and most exquisite wedding venues, Houchins Wedding Venue in Coggeshall, opened its doors to the public earlier this year, and to celebrate their arrival on the Essex scene they teamed up with Martels Bridal Boutique and Nathalie Delente Photography to create a series of show-stopping images which would represent and showcase some of the best Essex wedding suppliers and their products.

“The initial idea behind the shoot was to get together with inspirational suppliers and to show what can be done for brides that is a little bit different, to show that there doesn’t need to be a theme as such, but beautiful, traditional and vintage go hand in hand. We also wanted to show the benefits of working with recommended suppliers, who will have often worked together and can draw from their experience and knowledge of each others styles.

“The vision for the Houchins shoot was to provide a set of images which were classic yet still exciting to look at, and that would appeal to brides across the board — traditional but without the boring bits!”
