Carousels, balloons, sparkles and wedding dresses to die for; this is what we have in store for you today in this ethereal wedding shoot, photographed by Kerry Ann Duffy Photography.
The incredible team behind this wedding shoot have created the most magical styling in the barn at The House Meadow, and we adore it. We’ll let Kerry and Clare explain how the shoot came together…
“This magical, dreamy shoot ‘Take Me To The Clouds Above’ was the result of a collaboration between a group of super-talented suppliers at The House Meadow.
“While discussing the shoot (which we put together in just under a week) I had lots of images in my mind, and with all the work that Clare at The House Meadow put in to making the barn look so ethereal, I hoped we could achieve something amazing.” Kerry Ann Duffy
“I have been totally mesmerised by carousels for years. I find the colourful, intricately painted animals, twinkly music and glowing lights just so magical, and my Pinterest boards have been dominated by carousel images for so long!
“I’ve got to know the owner of a beautiful carousel ride through a family festival, and I have mentioned on more that one occasion that I’d LOVE to borrow a horse for a photo shoot — it was only a matter of time until I had to bring some of this wonder to The House Meadow.
“The release of the BBC Music ‘God Only Knows’ video catapulted this shot to life. Every scene left me inspired and excited by a fusion of colour, light and stunning props.
“In order to to veer away from the usual ‘rustic’ style images that the barn provides a backdrop for, I wanted the carousel to be complemented by sparkle, streamers, balloons, smoke bombs, and a whole lot of over the top and elaborate ‘pretty’.” Clare of The House Meadow
