If you are looking for some wedding flower inspiration then today I am taking you to floral heaven! I am so in love with this fabulous inspirational shoot, captured beautifully by Zehra Jagani at Owen House Wedding Barn in Cheshire.
Although it was originally created as a styled anniversary celebration, everything about this shoot oozes weddings. The soft colour palette of soft blues, ivory and subtle coral tones is so sweet and romantic. Florals including delphiniums, ranunculus, roses and eucalyptus create such a visual delight, and the floral chandelier is the perfect finishing touch, with hydrangeas taking centre stage.
The tablescape’s gold studded chargers, delicate mercury glass and silk napkins all add to the overall romantic look, and the glassware, candles, florals and foliage all all tie in with the romantic colour palette.
The rustic Owen House Wedding Barn was the perfect backdrop for these pretty wedding styling ideas…
Blue and Ivory Hues
“Iqra was over the moon when we discussed the idea of a white wedding dress editorial style shoot. Having had a traditional Pakistani wedding, she had always dreamt of wearing white. This was her chance to model yet live the dream of a white wedding — the perfect post-wedding shoot.
“Sadauf at The Wedding Fairy planned the decor and styling for the shoot, with blue and ivory hues for the floral arrangements, and a mix of corals and yellows for the latter part of the evening.
“I can only describe Sadauf’s very grand table display as heart-stopping, with candelabras dressed in coral and peach roses, blue delphiniums, dahlias, ranunculus and berries. The extensive collection of candles, teamed with the copper charger plates and navy blue napkins, provided a very intimate ambiance.”
Pretty Locations
“Iqra’s mum tailored her dress with a stunning lace fabric and tulle. No doubt it was a fun project for mum and daughter, and it was so lovely to see that kind of bond.
“From Faizan’s luxurious Dunhill shoes and an impressive IWC Schaffhausen watch, to Iqra’s Jimmy Choos and her sparkling wedding rings, there were so many beautiful details to photograph.
“Owen House Wedding Barn has so many pretty locations. The hay stack served as a lovely setting that gave us beautiful golden tones. With less light than we anticipated, we had about 15 minutes outdoors to capture some portraits before the sun set over rural Cheshire.”
