Cornwall is one of my absolute favourite places in the UK because of the incredible scenery and spectacular beaches. If you are looking for a unique, hidden beauty of a wedding venue in Cornwall then look no further than Pengenna Manor.
Pengenna Manor is such a fabulous building steeped in family history, and this 200 year the old cow shed has been converted into a rustic barn venue — The Cowyard Barn. It’s a beautiful blank canvas for couples to create the wedding of their dreams. Amber Pearl Photography photographed this wonderful rustic wedding styling concept that shows how you can transform the space.
Long, rustic, banquet style tables and folding wooden chairs formed the base for the rustic tablescape. The styling shows that tablescapes don’t always have to be big and lavish. The gorgeous foliage table runner works wonders and creates a real focal point for rustic styling. I love the old milk churns brimming with eucalyptus — very in keeping with the surroundings and the history.
So if you love Cornwall too, visit The Cowyard Barn at Pengenna Manor and see just how perfect this wedding venue is.
Natural, Rustic Vibe
“Pengenna Manor in North Cornwall is an 800-year-old private family home set in over 300 beautiful acres. The venue recently celebrated the completion of its new events space, The Cowyard Barn, with a gorgeous rustic wedding shoot featuring some of the South West’s top suppliers.
“Dressed for a beautiful yet simple indoor ceremony and a fabulous wedding reception dinner, the natural, rustic vibe complemented the new space perfectly.”
Mixed Greens and White
“The ceremony styling for The Cowyard Barn used a simple palette of mixed greens and whites. Attached to chairs, hand tied bouquets of ruscus, eucalyptus and asparagus fern lined the long aisle. Galvanised urns included sprays of ruscus and eucalyptus, and a stunning feature copper pipe arch stood under the gable end of the barn, decorated with more ruscus, eucalyptus and white hydrangea.
“For the reception dinner, the long lower section of The Cowyard Barn staged a dramatic run of rustic trestle tables. Grey Storm earthenware, Carlton cutlery, large Cabernet wine goblets and white and silver Turin stationery adorned the stylish tables, with copper pipe candlesticks intertwined with strands of ruscus, eucalyptus and asparagus fern completing the look.
“Imagine setting your wedding to this rustic, slightly quirky but classic style. Gorgeous!”
