We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the Christmas styled wedding shoots that we have featured. Now for something a little different; still festive but with a touch of Narnia about it.
This shoot oozes luxury, from the fluted gold chargers, cut crystal and brass candlesticks, to the outdoor Champagne bar with vintage glassware. The snowy setting in Oregon is perfect for this evergreen winter shoot, with the fir trees enhancing the glow of the snow.
“Luxe Event Production dreamed up a magical and Narnia-esque winter wedding shoot, and as it doesn’t really snow much in the Valley of Portland, Oregon, we trekked up to Mount Hood to find the perfect location for our Winter Evergreen theme. Nestled deep in the pines we found our location; an abandoned snow shack sat right in front of a frozen pond.
“For our first scene we coupled the Robert Farm Table with Franklin wood chairs and Doyle Folding Bench, laying a winter cedar garland down the centre of the table. Assorted brass candlesticks and vintage garnet pedestal votives added warmth to the table, and fluted gold chargers and classic white plates allowed the cut crystal to be the glitz of the table.
“We then swapped the gold chargers for gold rim plates, used a beautiful winter floral arrangement as the table centrepiece, and added pine cones and raw wax candles for a simple yet whimsical look.
“Our second scene was set with a Plaza Hotel inspired Champagne bar. Our Weston Cabinet was dressed with winter greens, vintage glassware, silver and brass Champagne buckets and mirrored serving trays.
“The shoot was months in the making but we couldn’t be more excited about how it turned out. A huge thank you to everyone involved for your hard work and endless ideas.”
