Moroccan Inspired Bridal Shower Styling

Today’s inspiration comes from this beautiful Moroccan inspired bridal shower styling, photographed by Abbie Mae Photography. Shot in the grounds of The Addison Grove, the styling team led by Heather Lane Events wanted to recreate the feeling and culture of Morocco in their home state of Texas.

A luxury picnic style soiree like this would be a wonderful way to celebrate your upcoming nuptials, but I also wanted to share this shoot because I think there are lots of fabulous ideas you could use for an outdoor summer wedding too.

Moroccan Style

The rustic tablescape is beautifully styled with colourful Moroccan-style mismatched glassware, patterned china and dip-dyed napkins. I love the simple, minimal use of foliage down the centre of the table, weaving in and out of candles, glass votives and small flower arrangements. This sits on a macramé table runner, which brings pattern and texture to the set-up, as do the large cushions which also give a cosy feel. Of course, a low-level table may not be suitable for a wedding breakfast, but you could use this idea to create outdoor chill-out areas instead.

Another lovely idea which continues the Moroccan theme is the tea table. Topped with Moroccan teapot, tea glasses, mint tea bags and bottled iced tea, it’s an interesting and refreshing feature. I love the brass hostess trolley next to it too, beautifully styled with a lantern, pink globe and florals.

And the floral styling doesn’t end there. The bride-to-be’s magnificent bouquet is full of pink and peach blooms including roses and ranunculus, while her hens have gorgeous foliage hoops to carry. There’s also floral detail on the bride-to-be’s stunning wedding dress, which adorns the bodice, skirt and long illusion sleeves.
