The elegance of a beautiful crisp winter wedding, with a neutral palette of white, silver, grey and sparkle, oozes sophistication. That’s exactly what this silver and grey winter wedding styling portrays. The team behind this shoot, styled by Liberty Pearl Photography, has created such a visual delight.
Deer Park, a beautiful 18th Century Georgian mansion with 80 acres of glorious grounds, was utilised inside and out to bring this spectacular shoot to life.
We adore the white, silver and grey colour palette, which is sublimely expressed with the wedding cake and dessert table. The wedding cake was inspired by the beautiful agate and geode themed wedding stationery, and the cake and dessert table also featured marble macaroons — marble is a big trend for weddings this season.
With geode crystals, hints of rustic silver, lush green florals and wedding dresses to knock ’em dead, this styling really hits the spot for inspirational winter wedding ideas.
Thank you to Michelle Cordner Photography for capturing these wedding styling ideas for us to share.
“Liberty Pearl Photography styled this luxury winter wonderland shoot, which featured geode crystals, a hint of rustic silver, grey, and an abundance of green florals.
“Elegant geode and agate wedding stationery used the white, silver and grey wedding colour scheme beautifully.”
Natural Hair and Make-Up
“We wanted the hair and make-up to look natural and very beautiful. Katie looked great with a touch of smoky eyed glamour, and Abigail fashioned a more natural pared-down look. Abigail’s hair-up style made a feature of her bridal headband, and Katie’s hair was styled with a trendy festival-style loose plait.”
Geode Wedding Cake
“I couldn’t wait to see the design for the geode wedding cake come to life. Inspired by the beautiful agate and geode themed bridal stationery, our cake and dessert table also featured marble macaroons. They tied in with the silver and grey winter wedding styling using earthy, natural rock elements. The beautiful geode crystals which decorated the table complemented the stationery and cake designs.”
Muted Silver Sequin Dress
“We used stunning, contemporary bridal gowns from Ellis Bridals’ 2017 collection, and a muted silver sequin dress from Phase Eight to inspire brides who want something different. Our groom wore an understated, modern grey slim fit suit.”
The Snow Queen
“The inspiration for the cone-shaped bouquet came from the thought of something the Snow Queen in the Narnia series would hold. The flower crown and bouquet with hydrangea celebrated the colours and wildness of the English autumn.
“To inject some fun we hired beautiful velvet chairs, a giant silver picture frame and a snow machine.”
