You’ve probably seen ‘Wedfest’ festival wedding ideas before, but today we’re sharing this cool inspiration for a ‘Henfest’ hen party! If you and your hens have a love for festivals and the great outdoors then why not combine the two with a festival-esque event to celebrate your forthcoming nuptials?
Created by Pitch Boutique, these ideas include activities to keep the hens busy throughout the day, including floral crown and bracelet making, glitter make-up and cocktails. There’s also the most incredible grazing spread for the hens to enjoy. Every inch of this Henfest styling is cool and fun, with pops of colour amongst the rustic features including outdoor gin and tonic bar and cute pallet picnic table set-up.
I hope you enjoy these amazing ideas, captured so perfectly by Ella Violet Photography…
Henfest
“At Pitch Boutique we create alternative hen parties. They’re a breath of fresh air for those who hate the idea of ‘L’ plates, strippers, willy straws and hen party dares! For this shoot we worked with an eclectic mix of suppliers to create ‘Henfest’, a festival inspired hen party set for our hens to celebrate in style.
“Planned around the launch of our new business, we hosted the shoot in a garden. This worked well because it meant the surroundings were realistic to the settings our brides to be will have for their hen parties. The bright and colourful setting had a party vibe, and this helped recreate that euphoric festival feeling of sunglasses on, glitter styling, prosecco in hand and your favourite people around you. We covered every angle, from glamping to festival flags, smoke grenades and much more.”
Colourful Pop
“The incredible duo of Alice Wotton and Right and Fine Hair Design styled our beautiful models. With all that amazing glitter the girls were definitely festival ready.
“Using stunning ‘flowery balls’, table pieces and flower crowns, Passion Flowers by Emma Spowage gave the site a colourful pop. We also styled the site with hand written calligraphy boards from Letter Me Kiki, giant festival flags from Event Flag Hire and colourful soft furnishings from Lily Mae Designs.
“When looking for suppliers for the shoot we certainly knew who we wanted to capture the day. Ella Violet Photography’s natural style has always inspired us, and we knew it would fit perfectly with our festival atmosphere. Caitlin from One Forever Films agreed to shoot a behind the scenes trailer from the day too, capturing all the hard working suppliers in action…”
