Wow, wow, wow. What a treat we have for you with this really funky bohemian bridesmaid styled shoot.
If you love the boho style and are looking for inspiration for your bridesmaids, then you are going to fall in love with these ideas. The informal style of the bridesmaid dresses and the soft mink, blush pink and white colours are just perfect for this look.
The creative team behind the shoot have really gone to town with the headdresses; from the chic jewelled headband to the incredible feather headpieces and horned skull, items synonymous with bohemian styling.
We hope you find lots of inspiration for your bohemian bridesmaids in this really cool styled shoot…
“My love for all things free spirited and bohemian was the inspiration behind this styled bridesmaid shoot, and it is a style which is becoming more and more popular in wedding styling.
“Layers of lace and crochet fabric were loosely hung over bamboo poles to create the tipi, which was topped with flowers and grasses.
“I didn’t want the bridesmaid dresses to be structured and formal, I wanted each to be a dress which could be worn outside of the wedding setting. The informal look was continued with the hair and make-up, with messy curls, braids and half-do hairstyles, and blush ‘hardly there’ tones of make-up used.
“We mixed and matched jewellery, with lots of long necklaces, bangles and gem stoned rings used, and the feather headpieces and horned skull are items synonymous with bohemian styling.
“It is a free spirited, heartfelt look that allows a bridesmaid to exude confidence and not conform with a stereotyped bridal look.”
