The cold weather has started, so today we want to warm your hearts and bring back memories of summer with this beautiful styled shoot ‘Floral Brides’, photographed by Griffin Photography.
Featuring dresses from the fabulous Annalise Harvey bridal collection, the shoot took place in a beautiful flower meadow in the sunshine, the perfect spot to capture the romance of the loved up couple who took part in the shoot.
“During the summer I was commissioned by the very talented bridal designer Annalise Harvey to create a bridal fashion shoot with some of her collection.
“The location was breathtaking, situated in Fowey in a flower meadow that was the grounds of The Garden Gate Flower Company. The Garden Gate team worked alongside us to create all of the floral headpieces and the bouquets, as well as the floral arrangements. I just adored the actual meadow, it was such a dream to be able to shoot in such a beautiful place and for the weather to be so wonderful.
“Annalise and I chose the models; we wanted them each to look different, and we also thought it would be a good idea to create a shoot using an actual loved up couple, so we centred the shoot around Emily and Stuart.
“As the photographer I planned each of the shots that I wanted with each of the models. One of the shots was based around a mad, fun party scene — I wanted Stuart to be stood still while the girls were having fun; it worked out well I thought. I also wanted to focus on the male holding the bouquet, as you do not often see this in fashion shoots. Each of the models had their own group of images to model and they showed the dresses off beautifully.
“I was very lucky to have such a great team of people to work with on the shoot, and the location made my job easy, being so beautiful that time of year!”
