Deer Park Spring Wedding Styling

Before Christmas we featured an amazing Winter Wedding Shoot at Deer Park; you know, the one with the reindeer. There are no reindeer in today’s shoot, but there are three super-cute little West Highland Terriers. Full of the joys of spring, we are sure you will love these images taken by Venetia Norrington. “We were delighted to work again with The Deer Park Hotel, a stylish boutique hotel nestling in the outskirts of Honiton, Devon.

“Spring is a season of renewal and growth, and therefore it was an easy choice to select a colour palette of yellow and green. Spring is also the season of frothy blossom; we included a bower of blossom in the drawing room which is licensed for weddings.

“The table settings echoed the theme and colours, and I used spring bulbs with the label ‘Let Love Grow’ as favours. We also had a little help from some white and fluffy four legged extras; the hotel welcomes well trained dogs.

“There was a host of golden daffodils in the grounds, and a beautiful tree swing, a romantic spot to take some time out together as a couple and a fantastic photo opportunity.

“The Summer House is also licensed for weddings, and we were able to carry the theme through by adding an arch of blossom and yellow aisle flowers. The yellow accent colour was picked up in the chair cover bows, the lanterns decorating the summer house and the yellow umbrellas.”
