With a wintery feel throughout, this ‘Concrete Opulence’ styled wedding shoot is moody and edgy. Inspired by the sparkling ‘Gaia’ wedding dress by Brooke Tyson Ritual, this shoot styled by Elizabeth Jean Weddings combines industrial grit with opulent accents.
The dark, ambient styling has a romantic feel with a modern twist. With a very minimalist vibe, it focuses on the florals and wedding dress, so there are no elaborate tablescapes needed. A simple set up of beautiful dark tableware, rustic napkins and amazing florals adorn the tables, with THE most incredible rose gold anthuriums amongst the lush foliage of the displays.
The raw concrete surroundings of the venue allow the ‘Gaia’ wedding dress to glimmer and shine. Handcrafted with evening weddings under lights or sparkling in the sunshine in mind, it’s intricately beaded and sequinned. With a beautifully relaxed fit and front opening, this versatile dress can also turn into a robe with the perfect size train trailing behind. Full bell sleeves with scalloped detailing add to the luxurious feel.
I really am so in love with this wedding dress. In fact, I’m in love with this whole shoot and its dark hues and moody vibe. These pictures taken by the talented Brooke and Gina of The Virtue say it all…
