This beautiful bohemian inspired wedding shoot, photographed by Nick Walker Photography, took place at the stunning 500 year old Pengenna Manor, a picturesque wedding venue set deep in the Cornish countryside.
The team behind the shoot wanted to go all out with the Moorish feel, and create a vibe that was relaxed, warm and elegant, which would tie in with the LPM Bohemia tent. Wedding styling guru Elle from Inspire Hire describes how she created the bohemian look…
“The low table and cushion seating area immediately created a certain type of exotic atmosphere, and the painted lining to the marquee was an astonishingly beautiful and unusual backdrop.
“I decorated the table using the jewel colours inspired by the souks of Marrakesh and bedouin tents. The cerise, purple and red are warm and luxurious, and punctuated with the aqua coloured water glasses and green jewelled votives the colours come alive. I used sheer layered fabrics on the table combined with lots and lots of opulent metallic and gem stone encrusted votives and lanterns. Elegant Persian rugs adorned the floor of the marquee, to add to the textural exotic atmosphere.
“The sparkling candlelight was abundant, and Elaine from Flowers from Bruallen created exotic and brightly coloured low, floral arrangements to complement the colours used on the table; the pops of yellow and orange really bring the scheme to life.
“When it came to the finishing touches and accessories we asked Sarah from English Rose Stationery to dot in pops of colour throughout the stationery and table plan, and Suzi from Cupcakemama created a sophisticated and elegant wedding cake using textured layers and tying in a silver metallic finish. Emma from The Cornish Wedding Company incorporated the rich vibrant colours into dressing the wedding cake table.
“For the bridal look Annie from Elegance chose a dress that was effortlessly beautiful, in a very traditional design that featured layering and textures, Holly used the lace detail in the dress as a focal point and matched it with a very pretty lace headpiece from the Holly Young Headwear Collection. The look was completed by Elaine tying in the hot, vibrant colour scheme from the bohemian set-up into the bride’s bouquet.”
