If you’re looking for fabulously chic wedding styling with a timeless elegance and wow factor florals then look no further! This styled shoot at Banking Hall, London, includes the most incredible floral sculptures that create a real wow factor.
The creative team, led by Love from Mwai, used monochrome tones throughout, from the modern wedding stationery set with marble envelope liner to honour the venue’s magnificent staircase, the tablescape design, and right the way through to the fabulous square tiered wedding cake.
Set on a black tabletop, the tablescape includes chic place settings of black china, gold cutlery and gold-rimmed glasses, and a table runner of white taper candles in silver holders and fabulous floral displays. Seriously, the floral sculptures in this styling are some of the most unique and edgy designs I have seen of late, and they really add to the vibe of this chic affair.
And then there’s the bride’s wedding dress, ‘Ursula’ by Naomi Neoh — wow! This off-the-shoulder dress has a stunning V back with a gorgeous bow that elegantly falls into the train of the dress. It really is the perfect dress for the art-deco styling of the venue.
These pictures, captured so beautifully by Eva Tarnok Photography, speak a thousand words…
Monochrome Tones with Flashes of Gold
“The flagship venue of Camm & Hooper’s venue collection, the Banking Hall sits between Cornhill and Lombard Street in the heart of the bustling city. Designed in the 1930s, the Banking Hall has refined Art Deco styling and, as a former bank, walls that hold the history of the city’s financial heritage.
“As the Banking Hall is such a statement space the concept for this styled wedding shoot had to be timeless. We wanted to set the scene of a very London love story and keep it fresh and fashion-forward. Mixing monochrome tones with flashes of gold, we kept the styling minimal and chic, adding a contemporary twist with the floral sculptures.

“The Banking Hall is a broad canvas on which to paint the details of a wedding to remember. Used as a location for films and fashion shows in the past, this elegant venue with its marble stairway, counting room bar, and sweeping main hall is versatile, iconic, and full of rich aesthetics.
“Our couple’s table is set for a banquet with modern glassware kissed with gold and sculptural floral displays that add an air of intimacy to this romantic love story. Textured foliage, fanned leaves, and geometric vases added infusions of edginess, while an abundance of long-stemmed candles lit the room in a warm glow.
“Our bride’s draping off the shoulder gown added subtle boudoir appeal for a romantic evening, and the groom’s sleek black and white attire was the perfect classic pairing for a traditionally romantic look.”
