“The original idea for a Christmas Tree Farm wedding came from Melissa while the two of us were brainstorming ideas for a styled shoot that we could present to EA Bride. We are both country girls at heart and we love shooting outdoor/farm weddings. We thought a Christmas Tree Farm would be a fun way to incorporate our love of outdoor weddings with the holidays and winter. We worked closely with the team to plan out the details and bring the shoot to life.
“What you may not realize is that we actually shot this winter wedding on a hot August day. We got in the Christmas spirit though by tuning into our Mariah Carey Christmas Pandora station. Our models did a great job snuggling up together despite the heat, giving the photos a true wintery feel.
“We loved the idea of pairing cream and gold with the rich, deep greens of the tree farm. On top of that, shooting at sunset brought us the perfect touch of creamy golden light!”
