Are you ready for some gorgeous wedding inspiration all the way from Greece? Today we have a chic botanical styled wedding shoot, set amongst Mediterranean greenery and olive groves.
The creative team wanted to create whimsical yet romantic styling, and it’s all totally gorgeous. We love the sweet treat table with the beautiful naked cake, cookies and mini doughnuts, and wait until you see the wedding dresses; WOW!
From the tablescapes to the indoor styling, you are going to fall in love with this very chic botanical wedding shoot. We did.
“The location for our shoot was Pyrgos Petreza, well known for its winery and olive garden, and surrounded by rich greenery, Mediterranean plants, high oaks and cypress trees. Inspired by the countryside location we decided to create an elegant, chic botanical atmosphere for the shoot.
“Our candy bar included a flower decorated naked cake, cookies and mini doughnuts, especially made for the occasion. A whimsical yet romantic feel was created by the Scrabble board, nostalgic wish cards, traditional cake stands, old school telephone, copper pots and mini glasses with succulents.
“The shoot was made more vivid and stylish by the elegant, romantic bridal gowns by Christos Costarellos, which continued the floral theme with delicate lace, embroidery and flowing full-length skirts, and the romantic feel was enhanced by the cascading bridal bouquet.
“A lot of foliage and eucalyptus mixed with orchids were used to create a fresh, dreamy and graceful effect, and the stunning tree decorated with orchids and foliage was a highlight of the shoot.
“To give a rustic, countryside feel the tables were dressed with subtle linens, lace and embroideries, country-style porcelain plates, colourful glassware and jar candles. The refined tablescape was completed with tulle favours and lace crowns, also serving as napkin rings.
“Four uneven pedestals were richly decorated with flowers, and high crystal vases topped with flowers were used as centrepieces, while a green foliage, white flower and orchid table runner decorated the bridal table.”
“Natural shades and creams formed the base for our colour palette, and a touch of colour was added with green and blush pinks. Every small detail, from the stationery and favours to the fern crowns, was inspired by the ring, a strong symbol of unity and eternity.”
