I just love these show-stopping burgundy and pink floral wedding styling ideas. Created by floral designer Lori’s Flowers and beautifully photographed by Elizabeth Burgi Photography, these ideas would work well for a wedding in any season, but the burgundy tones make them particularly suited to a winter wedding. Shades of burgundy always look wonderfully dramatic, but when mixed with pops of bright pink they really come alive.
The idea behind this styled shoot was to inspire brides looking for beautiful ideas for wedding florals for their bouquet, table and venue. Lori used roses as the main focal flower in the bouquet and table arrangements. In shades of rich, velvety burgundy and fabulous bright fuchsia pink they look divine. Paler shades of dahlia, stocks, scabiosa, ranunculus, and dark green foliage fill the arrangements.
Of course, you can’t help but notice the bride’s beautiful wedding dress too. This stunning off-the shoulder, long sleeved dress with lace bodice has a beautiful tulle train and is a real head-turner! I don’t often see brides wearing tiaras any more, but the one the bride is wearing is incredible. The entwined gold almost looks branch-like, and encrusted in black and white jewels this unique piece really stands out.
This whole shoot is oh so pretty. Our thanks go to Elizabeth Burgi for sharing these beautiful pictures…
“When Lori’s Flowers asked if I wanted to do a mini styled shoot of a table top and bride with bouquet I was totally on board. I love Lori’s fresh but classic style with flowers.
“Lori set the table with gorgeous burgundy and pink flowers that would be perfect for a fall or winter wedding. The model wore a custom gown by Niquie, and the flirty lace and bold jewel toned flowers fit together beautifully.”
