Opulent Wedding Styling with Shades of Blue

“For this shoot I wanted to create a rich and opulent look, using shades of midnight blue, indigo and navy to create a deep, inky backdrop with luxurious and on-trend copper details.

“Floribunda Rose created a statement floral display using romantic roses, copper and blue foliage for a dramatic centrepiece, complemented with navy sequin linens and an array of glamorous gilded crockery and glassware. We used a deep and moody stationery suite with inky watercolours and copper calligraphy, and we hung copper tags from navy ribbons to create an alternative seating chart display. Our wonderfully opulent cake matched, with its bold blue willow design on the bottom tier and oversized sugar flowers adorning the top.

“Our bride wore a suitably dramatic midnight blue ball gown with black lace detailing, accessorised with an inky blue headpiece and jewellery. I wanted to create a sleek evening look for our bridesmaid, who wore an oversized bow headpiece, and both girls were given an elegant hair and make-up look.”
