This beautiful styled wedding shoot took place at Hawkstone Hall in Shropshire, a stunning Grade I listed mansion built in the early 18th century. The venue, which only recently began hosting weddings, invited Dan Morris Photography to organise a styled wedding shoot, so he assembled a team of talented wedding professionals who set about creating a shoot that would capture the opulence and character of the location.
With pops of soft, pale blue, a sprinkling of green foliage and a classy, elegant feel throughout, this wedding styling works perfectly with the grandeur of this magnificent venue…
Hawkstone Hall
“A new wedding venue, Hawkstone Hall, asked if I would like to organise a styled wedding shoot. Hawkstone Hall is an 18th century Manor House nestled within the hills of the rolling Shropshire countryside. Even the locals in the surrounding villages didn’t know it existed. Owned by the Catholic Church for many years, this Grade I listed wedding venue has a rich history.
“Being in the English wedding industry for many years I have met many talented vendors, some who have since become good friends. So we assembled a team together, including myself, Dan Morris Photography, and Lee Allison as videographer, to capture the shoot. We also called on Sarah Elizabeth Bridal who provided the beautiful wedding dresses, Retro Press designed elegant stationery, Stephanie Saunders Flowers created stunning floral displays and Cake Daydreams made a show-stopping five-tier cake.” — Dan Morris Photography

Unique and Original
“As Hawkstone Hall is beautiful, opulent, grand and full of character, we wanted the shoot to complement and heighten these features. Our aim was to create wedding styling that was unique and original so brides and grooms could take lots of inspiration from the shoot.
“The venue influenced the colours and theme. We chose soft pale blues, ivory and eucalyptus greens with gold accents, creating a dreamy, elegant feel.
“From the floristry, foliage and wedding dress to the cake and stationery; everything came together to create something really stunning and different.” — Retro Press
