I hope you’ve all had a magical Christmas, and congratulations if you have just got engaged. 2018 has been an amazing year in the world of weddings, especially as we had two beautiful Royal weddings this year. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding in October provided so much inspiration.
The Wedding Community has featured so many incredible real weddings and styled shoots this year to give you ideas for your own wedding, and here are some of our most loved features of 2018…

A Merribee Wedding with a 70’s Disco Vibe
This wedding is super-cool. I mean, come on… a dog in a tux, the groom in a white suit and the bride with two outfits including a fabulous silver jumpsuit; these three things alone make for a REALLY cool wedding, right?! And the best thing? The wedding has a 70’s disco vibe!

Romantic and Elegant Yellow Wedding Styling
When you think of the colour yellow, what emotions does it evoke? For me it brings feelings of summer, the warm sun, soft sand and happiness. That’s exactly why I love this elegant yellow styling concept; quite simply, it makes me happy! You might think that yellow wedding styling could be too bold, but when it’s a soft, delicate shade, yellow can be understated, romantic and elegant.

A Pretty Lavender and Silver Wedding in a Country Pub
Alyx and Cam’s Lincolnshire wedding is full of really lovely little touches which show that you don’t have to have a huge, lavish wedding if that’s not your thing. The couple chose a lavender and silver wedding colour palette for their styling, and with pops of pink it really looks beautiful.
