Susan and Aaron’s wedding took place at Blooming Hill Farm in New York. As you can see from these beautiful pictures taken by Judy Pak Photography, it was a very wet day, but the rain didn’t damped the couple’s spirit. Even when their DJ got a flat tyre on his way to the wedding, the party had to go on…
“We didn’t really have a theme in mind when planning. The only thing we were sure about was that we wanted to find a farm that could host our party. We live in downtown New York, so there’s something dreamy about escaping to a simpler place where people appreciate the little things. We found Guy Jones’ farm in Blooming Grove and knew it was right immediately; simple, beautiful and charming.
“It’s kind of amazing how all the details came together. We spent the week before the wedding riding our bikes, collecting vintage vases and bottles for the flowers. Susan randomly found her dress at an antique store, Archangel, on 9th street, for $300, and then had it tailored. Our DJ got a flat tire on his way to the wedding, but luckily for us, Guy Jones is the type of farmer who has a stereo system in his barn!”
