Oh my goodness, we are in total awe of Abi and Simon’s wedding, especially the wedding flowers; wow! The ceremony aisle flowers are the most beautiful we have seen in a long time, and are the perfect finishing touch to the gorgeous lakeside wedding ceremony.
Stunning flowers continue the styling in the marquee for the reception, and we love the addition of the lanterns and stunning chandelier… and just wait until you see the bride’s dress!
We’re sure the wedding styling will give you loads of ideas for your own day. Our thanks go to Charlotte Leys Photography for sharing these fabulous wedding pictures…
“Our wedding day at Narborough Hall Gardens was incredible. The weather was amazing; we had a backup plan, obviously, it being England, but we were blessed with a beautiful day.
“The only real themes for the day were purple and the great outdoors, and we wanted a relaxed atmosphere, which I think we achieved. We didn’t want people to be standing around not knowing what to do with themselves. The kids were playing giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, and blowing bubbles, and the adults could take a stroll around the lake, take in the view from the tree house and explore the beautiful house. We chose to have a barbecue for the wedding breakfast to encourage people to get up, move around and help themselves to whatever took their fancy.
“The decorations were kept to a minimum as the hall, gardens and marquee were so beautiful already. We added some homemade bunting, paper lanterns and lots of flowers, and let everything else speak for itself.
“We shared our first dance to Bryan Adams ‘Heaven’ and then danced into the night with our friends. Those who didn’t feel like dancing drank in the last of the evening sunshine, walked around the gardens, chatted in the bar or took a tour of the lake in the rowing boat.
“Our lasting memories of our wedding day will be of the beautiful British summer, fantastic locally made ice cream, fun, games and spending time with people we love. We desperately hope that someone else we know will hold their wedding at Narborough Hall Gardens so we can do it all over again, and get a chance to have a go in the rowing boat!”
