Today’s real wedding pictures are from an intimate wedding in Girona, Spain. Laia and Luis wanted a small affair surrounded by their loved ones, enjoying delicious food together. We adore this wedding and its 1930’s styling, which photographers Sublim have captured in all its splendour.
Laia wore her dream wedding dress that makes her look like a Greek Goddess. We love the addition of the statue in the early images, that makes for some really quirky wedding pictures.
“We wanted to create a very intimate and special wedding, surrounded by those who really mean a lot to us. We had a winter wedding in Pontos, Empordà (Girona).
“We commissioned the wedding invitations, and wanted an invitation with a graphic design styled on the 1930’s, with a nice quote from the diary of Noah printed on a ribbon.
“I had a Teresa Helbig wedding dress like a Greek goddess, and shoes by Serena Whithaven. Luis was very elegant in a Tonello suit.
“The wedding was celebrated in the Church of Santa Maria de Vilabertran, an 11th century church enlivened with excellent chamber music by Tu Musica Events who were excellent; it was very emotional.”
