We just love this chic and sophisticated Hollywood wedding, photographed by Yvette Roman Photography. This city chic wedding oozes class and elegance and has many wonderfully designed aspects. Jenny and Ed worked with wedding designer Kristin Banta Events to make their wedding one very classy party.
“My husband and I had been together almost 10 years before getting engaged (we met when we were 18) so when it came time to start wedding planning my main thought was to just have a big celebration; not necessarily all the pomp and circumstance that goes along with a traditional wedding. With that said, we decided we wanted 120 of our closest friends and family to feel like we were inviting them into our home… to have a very intimate gathering as after all they’ve known us for so long!
“I went on an all out search to find a space to fit our needs: modern without being cold, elegant, and big enough to include all the things I wanted to make it feel inviting. We settled on The London Hotel in West Hollywood. It was the perfect space to create a lounge/elegant dinner party/supper club-ish feel. We utilised the entire hotel; the ceremony was on the roof, cocktail hour on the third floor garden, and reception in the ballroom. It gave guests a build up to the party.
“To give the reception the lounge feel we were striving for, we went with a customised bar including bar stools, lounge vignettes, banquette seating, a fun photo lounge for guests to take fun photos all night, and a live band. Another fun aspect we added were 2 bar carts were guests could make their own Martini’s (my personal favourite). All in all it was everything and more; the perfect celebration!”
