Today we are sharing beautiful pictures from Juliana and Luke’s wedding, taken by Anna Hardy. The wedding took place at Nonsuch Mansion in Surrey, and was an elegant yet relaxed affair, with beautiful flowers and details complementing the stunning venue perfectly…
“Nonsuch Mansion was the first venue we looked at and we fell in love with it instantly; it offered the full mansion with its beautiful Gothic interior, within beautiful green park surroundings. As it was so beautiful it did not need any decoration, so the only additions we made were flowers.
“We didn’t have a theme for our wedding, we just wanted it to be a really relaxed, fun day, with great food, music and dancing. We chose antique purple as our accent colour, highlighted specifically in our young bridesmaid’s dress which we matched to the ushers, best man and groom’s ties. The other two bridesmaids wore deeper slightly darker purple dresses.
“My dress… I just love it! It took almost 8 months and approximately 50 dresses to find the one that was to become my dream wedding dress! It is a beautiful Lusan Mandongus masterpiece, and the moment I put it on and looked in the mirror the tears just rolled down my face! I ordered the dress and was told the designer had a promotion that weekend and I should enter the online competition. I rarely enter competitions and forgot all about it and went on arranging the rest of the wedding. A week or so later, whilst looking for flower arrangements online, the designer’s competition popped up, and in that moment I thought I would give it a go and enter. Surprisingly, a week before Christmas I got a call to say that I had won my dress… it was the best Xmas present ever!”
