The fantastic civil partnership of Adam and Rick took place at The Queens Hotel in Leeds, a venue they chose because it worked so well with the art deco theme they wanted for the day. There are so many amazing pictures to share with you, taken by The Crawleys…
“We both love the art deco style so that played a big part in our choice of venue (The magnificent Queens Hotel in Leeds) and all of the styling for the day. We were really lucky as 1920s and 30s is really in vogue at the moment so it wasn’t too difficult to source things that would be in keeping with the deco style.
“We had a strict black and white dress code for guests which looked amazing in the photos. The wedding party had scarlet as an accent colour so people could tell who they were.
“We didn’t have too many flowers, just two pedestal stands, an arrangement for the signing table and some buttonholes. We had beautiful art deco lady lamps as centrepieces on the tables, and we also hired large punch bowls for each table, each one holding a magnum of Champagne. We decided to name the tables after our favourite Champagne houses, so each table had a different magnum of Champagne on it, and it was up to our guests to find out where they were sitting by pulling the Champagne out of the ice and seeing which house it was from.”
