Roll up! Roll up! See the amazing pictures, taken by Cameron Ingalls, from Stacey and Josh’s 1940’s circus themed wedding. The couple love the circus, going as often as they can, so wanted to combine this with their love of vintage to create “the party of the century”. A red and white striped circus tent, carnival games, a ring master ring bearer, and even stilt walking fire breathing circus performers; they thought of everything…
“We decided to have a 1940’s circus/carnival theme; we really wanted to throw the party of the century, for everyone to actually enjoy the time they spent at our wedding, walking away talking about it for years to come!
“The tent was a red and white canvas circus tent, and our ceremony took place inside the ring which turned into the dance floor after the ceremony. Our ring bearer wore a ring master outfit, and at cocktail hour we had 2 of our friends on stilts breathing fire, as well as carnival games.
“I made my hair piece by hand, using pearls that were handed down to me by my father’s mother, which I wore with my mother’s mother’s pearl necklace on my wrist, and my wedding shoes were a pair of my favourite shoes which I glittered.”
