Our congratulations go to Peter Anslow Photography after you voted this stunning picture from Mickey and Kasia’s wedding our 2019 Picture of the Year. Having been a finalist for the previous three years, including taking second place in 2017, Peter was delighted to find out he’d won this year’s competition…
“I am absolutely over the moon to win The Wedding Community’s Picture of the Year! After being in the final for the previous three years, this is fourth time lucky for me!
“It rained all day on Saturday 10th August 2019, but the bride and groom, Kasia and Mickey, who had booked me two years previously, were determined to enjoy it, whatever the weather! When I suggested going out in the pouring rain for a ‘brolly’ shot, they didn’t flinch at all.
“As well as being The Wedding Community’s Picture of the Year, this picture also received a Bronze award from the Guild of Photographer’s. As usual, the quality of all the other finalists was amazing and I feel very privileged to have come out on top.
“I would like to give a massive thank you to everyone that voted for me, for Kasia and Mickey for braving the elements on their big day and, of course, the guys at The Wedding Community for running a brilliant competition. Here’s to 2020!”
